Equestrian Socks

The Equestrian Socks meant specifically for riding have different from common motorcycle socks. Riding socks are usually designed in such a way as to keep the horse’s foot warm even when riding in extreme cold weather conditions, particularly in the rainy season. These socks help to keep feet warm while riding on icy roads or during wintertime. They are generally made of nylon-cotton blend and styled with ribbed edges on both sides.

There are also equestrian socks for winter, which can be used when traveling by snowshoe in sub zero conditions. For this type of socks, the fleece lining will be in a side sewn slit. It will then come up to the hemline. These socks do not have any reflective material along its edges as it is for safety purposes. These socks usually come in dark colors such as black, brown, grey etc.

These fashion socks are available in many different varieties. The ones designed for men are mostly knee length with elastics at the ankle. The ones designed for women generally have knee-length or capris. Some people like to use them for casual wear. But one thing that should be kept in mind that the fit of the sock should neither be too tight or too loose.
